This week, I'd like to focus our hearts and minds on a concept that has brought me immense peace during challenging times: radical acceptance through tawakkul (trust) in Allah's divine plan.
Radical acceptance in Islam isn't simply about passively accepting circumstances—it's about actively surrendering to Allah's wisdom with full trust that whatever He has decreed is ultimately for our benefit, even when we cannot see the wisdom behind it.
This isn't the trendy, worldly concept of acceptance, but rather the deep spiritual practice of submitting to Allah's will with a peaceful heart. It means recognizing that Allah is not random in His decrees, and true peace comes when we align ourselves with His divine plan.
